Price Match Program: Terms & Conditions

How it works

If you, as a MedExpress customer, find that a Competitor that we price match with sells the same item at a lower price, you can submit a request for us to match the price difference by contacting our customer service team within 7 days of your purchase. You can contact our customer service team on hello@medexpress.co.uk or submit a contact form via https://support.medexpress.co.uk/hc/en-gb

Our customer service team will review the price match request and provided the request is eligible for our Price Match Program (based on the criteria and terms below), our team will issue a credit for the agreed price match amount to your MedExpress account which can be used on future MedExpress orders subject to the restrictions set out in section 11 below.

Who we price match with

We only price match with items sold directly by the competitors listed below ("Competitors"):

Superdrug Online Doctor, Zava, Juniper, Simple Online Pharmacy, Oxford Online Pharmacy, Boots Online Doctor, Asda Online Doctor, Lloyds Pharmacy Online Doctor, Pharmacy2U, Voy, Chemist4U, HealthExpress, Numan, Medicine Marketplace, Oushk and Dr Franks.

Terms and Conditions

Our Price Match Program is subject to the terms and conditions below:

1. Items we price match: the Competitor's item must be identical in brand, size, quantity and strength to the one you wish to price match and the item must be in stock and available for delivery from both the Competitor and MedExpress.

2. Who we price match: we only price match with items that are sold directly by our Competitors.

3. Timeframe for price match: price matches can only be applied for after your order has been confirmed and the price match claim must be made by you (and no one else) within 7 days of the date of your purchase from www.medexpress.co.uk ("MedExpress Website").

4. Publicly Advertised Price: the Competitor's price must be publicly advertised and available to all customers. We do not price match against any wholesale prices, any prices made by a third party that is not a Competitor, promotional prices, exclusive prices, obvious pricing errors, special offer prices, discount code prices, or any other prices that are conditioned or subject to any offer or promotion whether or not offered by a Competitor.

5. Minimum order value: to claim a price match under the Price Match Program, the order containing the item you wish to price match must have a minimum order value of £99.99 and be made on the MedExpress Website.

6. Maximum price match: the maximum price match available under the Price Match Program is £40 and this maximum value applies regardless of whether the Competitor's price is more than £40 cheaper than the MedExpress price. In this scenario, you will be credited the maximum amount of £40 to your MedExpress account in accordance with section 11 below. MedExpress customers can only claim one price match per order.

7. Comparable service: the Competitor must offer substantially similar consultation and prescription services, and the delivery timeframes must be comparable to the MedExpress delivery timeframes. A Competitor that only offers fulfilment of a prescription service will not be deemed a comparable service for the purpose of the Price Match Program. MedExpress, acting reasonably, reserves the right in its sole discretion to determine if a service is a comparable service under this section 7.

8. No combined offers: the price match offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, discount or voucher whether offered by MedExpress or a Competitor. If your order included another offer, promotion, discount or voucher, you will not be eligible to receive a price match regardless of whether the price match offer is more favourable than the offer applied to your order.

9. Evidence: when requesting a price match you must provide a screenshot of the Competitor's price for the price match item and a valid URL link to the item page on the Competitor's website. MedExpress reserves the right to ask for additional information in relation to any price match evidence provided by you and may be unable to proceed with the price match without this information.

10. No price match on returned items or refunded orders: MedExpress cannot offer any price match where the item has been refunded or returned.

11. Credits: where we agree to price match an item, the price match will be provided by way of credit to your MedExpress account. Please note that credits:

a) are valid for 12 months from the date they are added to your account;

b) are not convertible to cash;

c) are not transferable to anyone else or any other membership;

d) cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions and discounts; and

e) may only be redeemed by you placing an order on the MedExpress Website from your MedExpress account.

12. General:

a) You must be at least 18 years of age to request a price match under the Price Match Program.

b) We reserve the right at all times, in our sole discretion, to terminate, suspend or modify the Price Match Program, these terms and conditions or any other aspect of the Price Match Program in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice to you.

c) We reserve the right at all times, in our sole discretion, to refuse, withhold or reclaim any price match if we:

i) reasonably believe the terms of the Price Match Program have not been met; and/or

ii) suspect any fraudulent activity and/or intention to buy items to resell for business or trading purposes.

d) Changes to these terms and any period suspension or termination of the Price Match Program will be posted on the Price Match Program Page.

e) We make no warranty of any kind regarding the Price Match Program, which is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We expressly exclude all conditions, terms, representations, statements, undertakings, obligations and warranties, including implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, whether express or implied by statute, common law, or otherwise in law or from a course of dealing or usage of trade to the fullest extent permitted by law.

f) We are not responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, in relation to the Price Match Program, including without limitation that the Price Match Program will be error-free, or as to the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of any content or information distributed with respect to the Price Match Program.

g) MedExpress is not liable to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or any other representations for any business loss, loss of goodwill or reputation and / or any indirect loss, consequential loss or any other special loss suffered whatsoever or sustained in connection with this Price Match Program including any credits issued under this Price Match Program. We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way where it would be unlawful to do so.

h) Information collected from you will be used in accordance with our Privacy Notice located at https://www.medexpress.co.uk/privacy.

i) These terms make up the entire agreement between you and MedExpress in relation to the Price Match Program, and replace any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the Price Match Program. All orders that are subject to a price match request and any disputes arising from the Price Match Program or these terms will be subject to the relevant provisions of our Terms of Sale https://www.medexpress.co.uk/terms-sale.

j) These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
