Fexofenadine is an antihistamine. This reduces the levels of a chemical called histamine that is found naturally in the body, which can lead to redness, swelling and itching during an allergic reaction.
Fexofenadine helps to reduce the symptoms of an allergy and can be used to treat hay fever, conjunctivitis (red, itchy eyes) or eczema. Fexofenadine comes in a 120 mg or 180 mg dose: the 180 mg dosage is recommended for those looking to treat hives (urticaria).
The recommended dose is to take one tablet once a day. This should be swallowed whole with a glass of water, and ideally before you eat to maximise its effects.
Fexofenadine should start to take effect in 1 hour, and lasts for a total of 24 hours.
Fexofenadine is only recommended for children above the age of 12 and adults under the age of 65. It is not recommended for those that have experienced a previous allergy to Fexofenadine, or any of the other ingredients that this is formulated with. It’s recommended not to take Fexofenadine before speaking to your doctor or pharmacist if you have experienced the following:
Liver or kidney problems Heart disease or have been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat Pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy
It’s recommended that you always read the patient information leaflet (PIL) of the medicine that you receive before taking it to make sure that this is suitable for you.
Every medicine can cause side effects, but it’s not guaranteed that everyone will experience them.
Common side effects when taking Fexofenadine include a headache, drowsiness, nausea or drowsiness. These usually go away after starting treatment gradually, but if they don’t go away you can speak to your GP or pharmacist for further advice.
If you experience a fast or irregular heartbeat or a severe allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, blistered or peeling skin) while taking Fexofenadine, stop treatment and contact your doctor straight away. This very rarely happens, but needs to be monitored closely.
Always read the label of any medication that you take and only take according to the instructions provided. Do not exceed the stated dose.
Over the counter anti-histamines: There are a large number of over the counter anti-histamines which can be effective for relieving the symptoms of Hay Fever. Speak to your pharmacist for more information.
Impressively quick service. Easy site to navigate and meds delivered by reliable Royal Mail, so well pleased. Thank you!
Great service, easy to navigate the questionnaire and far quicker service than waiting for the NHS services to approve and dispense your meds. Completely legitimate products, unlike so many other bogus sites. I have placed a couple of orders, even today, a Saturday, with estimated delivery this Monday. Awesome! This company has my full 5 star approval.
Full information, quick delivery, follow up email. Professional would not purchase from anyone else.

This is a brilliant service and so quick and efficient. I would have had to wait god knows how long for a GP appointment for this medication.
Checked properly by a doctor before medication was prescribed and aftercare very good. Received yesterday kept up to date with the delivery and had to sign for which I like so there’s no missing parcel. Highly recommended.
