Blue Pill information
The Blue Pill is the same dosage as Viagra Connect®. This is a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). It belongs to a class of medications called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors.
The Blue Pill, similar to Viagra Connect®, can last up to 6 hours, with peak effects in 2 hours. This will depend on factors including your dosage and your body’s metabolism.
You should take the Blue Pill (Viagra Connect®) about one hour before you plan to have sex. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. The Blue Pill can be taken with or without food, but you may find that it takes longer to start working if you have it with a large, calorie-dense meal.
When taken on an empty stomach, the Blue Pill is absorbed quickly and will usually work within 30-60 minutes. Taking the Blue Pill with food can significantly increase the time taken for the Blue Pill to work.
The Blue Pill, similar to Viagra Connect®, is registered and licensed for use in the UK and EU and can be safely taken by the majority of men with erectile dysfunction. The medicine is produced by Pfizer, who have been releasing erectile dysfunction medicines since 1996. Their medicines have been used to treat millions of men around the world with erectile dysfunction.
Like all medications, ED treatments can cause some side effects. The most common ones are: headaches, muscle aches, back pain, flushing, low blood pressure, abnormal vision and indigestion. Please speak with your GP or pharmacist if you experience any of these side effects for a prolonged period of time.
