Situational anxiety when anxiety only occurs in certain scenarios — for example, during tests, important presentations, social events or when travelling.
Anxiety is a feeling of panic, worry or fear about something with an uncertain outcome. When you’re anxious, your heart rate increases and it can feel like it’s pounding in your chest. You can also flush, feel sweaty, shaky and even short of breath. It can also cause behavioural changes, like avoiding situations and potential triggers, or becoming overly cautious.
